When George and Delores, members of DirectBuy of Houston East, told their family that they won $50,000, five-year-old granddaughter Lauren said, “Yaya (Greek for “grandmother”), I’ve never known anybody to win $50,000.”

Well luckily she does now, as her grandparents are planning a vacation for their entire family to enjoy. The Letsos family also plans on paying off Delores’ medical bills from last summer’s chemotherapy treatments. “We couldn’t thank DirectBuy enough for their Home Makeover program and giving us this incredible opportunity,” said George Letsos.

“Since joining DirectBuy, we have remodeled our kitchen with all new appliances and have also remodeled our master bathroom,” said Delores. “We were going to stop there, but since winning the Home Makeover Contest, we can re-furnish our master bedroom as well.”
